Are you aware that your Soul has its own rhythm, its own musical beat? And, unless you align with that rhythm you may be trying to move forward at a time when your Soul is prodding you to remain still. When you’re not alignment with the rhythm of your Soul, it may feel like you’re walking through mud or hitting up against a brick wall.
Sometimes, it’s more important to be the turtle than the hare. Slow and steady wins the race. In this case, slow and steady helps keep you focused on what’s really important and in alignment with your Soul’s purpose. If you try to be the hare and rush forward when it’s not time, you may have to start over or you may miss important lessons or opportunities along the way.
In our Earth school the journey is just as important as the destination. Your Soul chose this journey for you so you could learn specific lessons that will evolve your Soul’s consciousness. Being in alignment with the rhythm of that journey will help you move with grace and ease. Engaging with your Soul at this level is like performing an etheric Soul Dance. In this dance, your Soul leads and you follow.
Some of the signs that you’re not in alignment with your Soul’s rhythm include:
- You feel stuck;
- Your mind feels foggy;
- You feel overwhelmed with life;
- Your body is feeling fatigued;
- You’re taking steps, but getting nowhere fast.
Take a moment now to stop and take a breath. Close your eyes and allow your Soul to help you take an inventory of your life. Where are you not in alignment with the rhythm of your Soul? Look at every area of your life: career, relationships, spiritual, family, finances, etc. I suggest you journal the answers to these questions. As you flow through each area of your life, ask yourself the following four questions:
- Does it feel like I’m walking through mud?
- What is causing this misalignment? Is there something I’m afraid to face? If so, what is it?
- What steps do I need to take to get back in alignment with the rhythm of my Soul?
- Do I need support in getting back on alignment? If so, who am I going to ask for help to keep me accountable to my Soul?
Getting back on track doesn’t have to be difficult. Once you become aware that something is off, it automatically opens the space for you to do something about it. For me, going into the stillness is always the answer to get clarity on what I need to do differently. The answer may just be, ‘breathe, and be still,’ or ‘do nothing right now.’ The key is to engage your spiritual muscle to help you obtain the answers that are already within you. Use whatever spiritual practice you enjoy to take you to that place of solitude and allow the answers to come in their own Divine timing.

Wishing you an amazing Soul Dance!
